Yup, howdy.  This is a site where I ramble and post random nonsense.  For the record, I do not expect this site to have any visitors show up here for the purpose of reading what I’ve got to say.  Also for the record, I do not think I’m anything special by having my own website/domain.  This website is not an exercise in stroking my ego or satisfying any desire to illustrate self-importance.  Honestly, it’s not that big of a deal.

kenvallot.com was something I created back in January 2003 for personal online storage space and a permanent email host.  Additionally, I used it as a place to rant once in a while with blog entries and to have some sort of rudimentary online “presence” (long before social sites like MySpace and Facebook really took off).  The webpage itself has been mostly void of content for a while, but I reactivated the site with a fresh Wordpress installation in August 2008.  The purpose of the reactivation was to host a private journal and a public photo album for distant family to view.
